Is it a hit or a miss? Here's my take

The gardens were amazing, immersing me in nature! Service was perfect with personal butler attention.

The dining options were quite pricey, making it hard to justify when local places are cheaper.

The services are excellent, including a great pool. The hotel staff is five star and efficient.

The hotel had stunning and charming location short walk to colourful gardens, lake and botanical gardens, both worth a visit and the foreshore. It also was in local restaurants in the centre of Kandy. We got double room, which was airy.

The onsite restaurant was delicious with a range of choices.

Upon arrival, I was frustrated to find no door on the bathroom. The noise pollution from workmen sweeping outside at 8 am was disruptive. Adding to the chaos, loud music and dance performances began shortly after, further disturbing our peace during what was supposed to be a serene getaway.

The gardens are just fine and so well lit at night. The pool area is huge and its like your own little paradise. The staff are super friendly and. The food is really great, especially the curries, yum!

only downside was that wifi kept needing me to sign in and it wasn't very secure.

The gardens were amazing, especially at night, and the staff treated us like we were in a luxury resort. The pool area reminded me of a hidden paradise. Only thing was that we had to pay for coffee from the machine. Otherwise, it was a fantastic getaway!

Pool area blends into nature, and breakfast was a real treat. Wifi was spotty.

The location was wonderfully serene with beautiful gardens that gave the feeling of a peaceful retreat. The staff offered excellent service, and we particularly enjoyed the lovely gourmet meals, including gluten-free breakfast options on the veranda.

The staff were attentive, making sure everything was perfect, and it reminded me of we were in the middle of nature despite being so close to the city with nearby attractions like the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic just a short stroll away and the beautiful gardens provided a serene escape after our urban adventures.

I spent 1 night in a Beautiful Queen Room. The Royal Peacock suite is fine, elegantly decorated. The pool overlooks lush gardens and paddy fields. Attentive butlers catered to my needs. Breakfast was delicious, especially with fresh local dishes 🌿

The shared veranda was good, but the room felt constricted without a view.

Wifi connectivity was inconsistent, requiring frequent sign-ins, a minor inconvenience.

Comfortable authentic property with efficient staff. Tranquil, unbeatable location in a really comfortable area. Very nice restaurant for a brilliant meal.

As a mountaineer, the charm of The Kandy House captivated me. The Royal Peacock suite offered fine decor and a private garden with a swing. I relished the Sri Lankan curry evening, lovely. A minor hiccup was the spotty Wi-Fi, but the overall ambiance made it worthwhile.

The charming location just 4 km from a church, the well-appointed airy units with glass windows, and the intention to return - all made for a delightful stay.
